  • A minimum of 15 students within five grade levels is required to participate in LHR programming.
  • Programs can be adapted to high school aged students.
  • All programs correlated to Wisconsin Model Academic Standards and Common Core State Standards for Literacy in All Subjects.
  • The Local History Room provides most, if not all, of the materials used in the programs, and provides all of its own equipment.
  • There is a $1 per person fee for Local History Room programming both at the museum and in Monroe County classrooms, and a minimum $2 per person fee for in classroom programming for out of county schools.
  • During each program, students will listen to a presenter, look at images, handle objects, and participate in physical activities. Always inform us of any special-needs students so that we may make any necessary adaptations.
